Pumpkin Carving

Friday night before Halloween we carved two more pumpkins. Talan and I made a very simple one with square eyes, a triangle nose, and a simple mouth. Daddy made one that said "Boo" and "Trick or Treat." They each turned out great and Talan was so proud of both of them.Daddy digging in.

Talan would actually put his hand in this year. It was so funny the first time he did it. He made a face that was hilarious. He just looked at us like what am I really doing right now and what am I touching.

Daddy working hard on deciding what stencil to do. Justin worked on his pumpkin for almost an hour and a half. It looked awesome though!

Nana and Papa brought Talan this donkey. It sings "Suger Pie, Honey Bunch" and its ears move up and down. By the end of their visit, Talan could sing the song along with the donkey. It was so fun to watch him with it. He would push the button and then dance and sing around the living room.
Just so you all know, Talan would never go out in public dressed like he is in these pictures. He has on his pumpkin carving clothes; old shirt and old pants.
